Can't Find Your Ancestor in the Census?

You may not be finding your ancestors in the census because you may be using an exact search with your ancestor's name. You know you may find the same ancestor with a different spelling. So search the census using parameters to include various spellings. Try searching with a middle name or initials.


It's amazing how time flies. Here it is August already. I've been trying to bring order to my workspace which surrounds my computer and I can't believe how many papers I accumulate around that said workspace. No wonder I never finish cleaning. I always come across something that I laid aside because I started working on something else. This time it's a marriage document that I recently acquired from St. Patrick's Cathedral in Newburgh, New York. My husband's 3G Grandmother was married to John Ryan.
