Well, I'm back from the conference that I helped organize. It was a lot of work but well worth it. We had a hybrid conference: some speakers were in person and some were presented by video. I know that the new way of hosting conferences is by video but there's nothing like the ones in person. You get to speak with the speaker because they're approachable. I've been very busy helping to plan a conference for our society. I am really looking forward to it because we have a whole host of fabulous speakers, everything from the history of the first settlers in San Antonio in 1718, to how to write your story, to wills from the town my family came from and to several DNA speakers. How fun! Do you ever attend conferences? In addition to networking, you will learn so much. I urge all genealogists to attend at least one conference.
